4 Fears Holding us Back + Reflection Exercise

I think a lot of us know what we should be doing, annnnnd yet we still don’t do it…..

Usually behind all procrastination and lack of action is FEAR. Fear is a biological safety mechanism every human being is instilled with (thanks evolution). And whilst it keeps us ‘safe’ it also stops us moving beyond our comfort zone and taking action towards our dreams!

So I’ve made a Fear Reflection Worksheet to support you!

4 COMMON FEARS holding us back:

1. Fear of not being enough

Ever felt like someone might find you out? That it all might come out in the wash that you don’t have it all figured out and perhaps you're not actually worthy of this life? Helllllo imposter syndrome! Yip, at some point in our life we decided we weren't enough and it's a story that's been on repeat. It's time to rewrite the ending!

2. Fear of not having enough

Ever felt like no matter how much money comes in or how many qualifications you have - it's never going to be enough to do what you truly want? Let this land - scarcity is a mindset, you already have everything you need!

3. Fear of failure

I know. It's terrifying. How embarrassing if you fall flat on your face?! What if you launch it and it fails?! Honestly, the biggest failure of all is to never try.

4. Fear of success

Yip this looks like self sabotage on the daily. Perhaps you leave it last minute or don’t leave enough time to plan properly. And then the moment you're getting some momentum and things are really taking off, you get the speed wobbles and take your foot off the pedal.

Being fearless is actually impossible for any human, instead we need to learn how to identify the fear and take action in spite of it!

What one resonates for you?
