I hit my rock bottom in a dimly lit server room, tucked away in the basement of a co-working space. It was the kind of place where dreams were supposed to come to life, but for me, that day, it felt like the end of the road. I hadn’t eaten, and as I stared blankly at the screens, everything I’d been holding in hit me all at once.
My business was a disaster, my relationship was unraveling, and my health had taken a back seat. I felt completely burnt out—physically, mentally, and emotionally. In that moment, I broke down. I cried, and for the first time, I allowed myself to feel the weight of it all.
I felt like quitting. But even in the haze of that breakdown, a small voice inside me wanted more. More time. More well-being. More success. But the beliefs I’d held onto for so long told me I couldn’t have it all. That success required sacrifice—that if I wanted more money, I’d have to work harder, sacrificing my health and time in the process. The equation didn’t seem to add up, and I felt trapped in a never-ending cycle of burnout.
On the outside, it looked like I had a business problem. I was attracting chaotic clients, my team wasn’t aligned, and no matter how hard I pushed, nothing seemed to move forward. But deep down, I knew this wasn’t just about the business. The truth? The chaos in my company was a reflection of the chaos within me.
My personal problems were showing up in the business, and no business coach or strategy was going to fix that. I was operating under an old system—how I had worked as a lawyer, how I lived my life—and that wasn’t going to get me to the next level. Something deeper had to change, but I didn’t know what it was.
I realized there must be another operating system for entrepreneurs, something that goes beyond strategy and business tactics... I started working on my nervous system, my mindset, and my energy. At first, I didn’t know if this would work. It felt counterintuitive—how could focusing on personal transformation impact the business?
