How to Leverage the Laws of the Universe when Manifesting
Most of us know about the ‘Law of Attraction’ when it comes to manifesting our desires and dream life. At some stage, you might have heard ‘all you need to do is visualise it, visualise it’ and then poof it shall appear….but that’s not necessarily accurate.
There is SO much more we can do to truly upgrade our manifestation game. There are other Laws of the Universe we can leverage, read on to explore….
Just a little 101 on the Laws of the Universe before we dive in - these laws are governing forces that reign over all things, they work as consistently as gravity. When we work and live in alignment with them we will experience more flow, ease and synchronicity and conversely, when we operate unaware of them things may seem confusing, hard work and like you can never get ahead.
Just four years ago I was feeling lost, empty and confused in my life as a corporate lawyer. I seemingly ‘had it all’ but I had what society told me would make me happy, not my truest authentic expression. Deep down my soul’s voice nudged me to move forwards, a calling I couldn’t ignore….
I started learning deeply about personal development, neurolinguistic programming and all sorts of other coaching modalities. But most importantly, I tuned out of society's noise and tapped into my own truth and inner guidance. We all have the capacity to channel and listen to something greater than ourselves.
I finally got clear on what I wanted and gave myself over to being a co-creator with the universe. I committed that my life would be of service to something greater and that I would live in alignment with the governing Laws of the Universe.
Piece by piece, I started to overhaul and redesign every area of my life. I left corporate law and started my own coaching company. I left financial security to discover financial empowerment and freedom. I walked away from friendships I knew were not part of my next evolution. I left a relationship that was ‘good on paper’ to trust that my soul wanted something deeper and more expansive (and I found just that!)
Every step was both painful and liberating.
I want to share the ways I leveraged the Laws of the Universe to manifest my dream life. Before I do, I want to give you permission that your vision may not look/feel anything like mine, and that’s the whole point. We each have a unique expression and soul blueprint that is here for you to discover and align yourself with.
As mentioned earlier, when manifesting, most people only work with the Law of Attraction - which states that ‘like attracts like’. Translated into real-life application, most people understand and acknowledge that if you are operating in a low energy and negative thoughts, you will attract more of that. Vice versa if you are in a high energy and emitting higher thoughts, you will attract more of that. When The Secret came out, we saw a huge movement of vision boards and positive affirmations, which in my opinion was just the beginning of the true potential of manifestation….
Here are the next steps to leveraging the Laws of the Universe to manifest your dream life:
STEP 1: GET CLEAR ON WHAT YOU WANT
Very few of us have a true idea of what our authentic essence is and what it truly desires to thrive. The first step here is to get super clear on what you really want, not what you think you ‘should’ want, but what your SOUL is yearning for.
Action: Free write and journal what you want in each of the following areas; career/business, intimate relationship, health, spiritual/personal growth, finances, community/friendships
STEP 2: LAW OF VIBRATION
States that - everything in the universe has a vibrational frequency. And expanding on ‘like attracts like’ means our own vibrational energy attracts or aligns with the same or similar vibrational energy.
Action: So now, instead of just visualising your outcome - it is time to become the vibrational frequency of the thing you want to attract. Who would you be if you already had this thing? How would you show up? What would your energy be like? This is a game of act as if you already have that thing! This energetic frequency will quickly call in the thing you want in the physical realm.
3. LAW OF INSPIRED ACTION
States that - we must engage in intentional actions that support our desires and dreams.
Action: This law is everything (and often forgotten). You can’t just journal or put pretty pictures on a vision board. Under this law you need to take massive aligned action towards the thing you desire! Ask yourself - are your actions supporting your desires? Are your actions supporting your dreams and supporting the life you are working so tirelessly to create for yourself? Reflect and assess. What’s one small action that is going to get you closer to your desire?
4. LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT
States that - every action (including thought) has a reaction or consequence.
Action: Often when we are taking actions and not seeing immediate results, we can get disheartened. Based on this law, "we reap what we sow" meaning all the hard work and actions you take are sowing seeds and you just need to keep taking action and trust that they will sprout!
5. LAW OF COMPENSATION
States that - the more we give, the more we shall receive. This shows up as the abundance, prosperity and blessings that flow into our lives in response to our direct contribution and indirect actions throughout our lifetime.
Action: Focus on what you can give, not what you can get. Life supports that which supports life, meaning the more you give and contribute to the whole, the more you shall be supported and receive! Every day ask, what can I give? How can I contribute? Who can I support?
6. LAW OF GENDER
States that - there are masculine and feminine in every creation (including your manifestations).
Action: Both energy forces are crucial to your manifestation practice. There are times you can relentlessly pursue your vision, take massive logic goal-orientated actions (masculine energy). AND there are times you just need to receive, ask for support and allow life/the universe to surprise you (feminine energy). Be conscious of what energy you are leveraging and be sure to play and utilise both!
